Weekend Update

On Friday night we had our first dinner out with Anna. We met the Sagers and the Carters at Mellow Mushroom.
Anna is spending more and more time in this thing. I think she likes it!
Dancing with Mommy in the kitchen.

Sick but smiling

Anna still isn't feeling great. She hasn't had a fever, but now has a cough and her nose is still runny. Jeff and I are losing more sleep over it than she is. At her four month check up last week she weighed 13 lbs. 2 oz. and was 24 in. tall (long?). She is in the 42nd percentile for both.
Getting ready to try rice cereal for the first time! Yum!
Hanging out in the exersaucer--still trying to figure it out.

Kisses from Daddy!

A week of firsts

It was an up and down week for the Almstedts. The highlight was Christina and PJ coming for a visit and meeting Anna for the first time. Unfortunately that was coupled with the end of Anna's first week in daycare, quickly followed by a fever and her first cold. She wasn't feeling that great all weekend, but managed to keep smiling. She slept in her swing the past two nights to help with the congestion and then I thought she was getting pink eye, so today was also the first sick day I took to take care of Anna. Her eyes were looking good this morning, but I took her to the doctor to be sure. It was just some drainage from her cold. Only six more weeks until we won't have to worry about all of these germs! She was four months old yesterday! Check out the monthly chair picture from our homepage www.saraandjeffalmstedt.com.

Happy Easter!

Luckily the paparazzi did not follow us to church, or Anna would have been busted for wearing this dress for a second time. Jeff wore pink to match his little girl. Awwwww!
Anna's Easter basket had pacifiers and an empty bottle in it. As you can see, she was disappointed that there were no Reese's peanut butter eggs or chocolate bunnies in there (so was I).

Not an Easter pic, but so cute! Anna loves her Daddy!

Other highlights from the past week: Anna is consistently drinking from a bottle during the day, as you can see from this picture with Mamom.

Julie came to visit! Anna was looking a little sad that she didn't get to meet Bella and Glo. Next time!

During our last Oak Grove playdate Ava Mei tried out the new highchair and Nathan and Ashley showed off their rolling over skills. Sweet!

The Latest

We have had a very busy few weeks! I went back to work and we were very lucky that Mimi and Mamom were each able to come down for a week to watch Anna. It was so nice to know she was happy at home with her grandmas while I was at work.

Anna's baptism was March 25 and we had a lot of family and friends to help us celebrate!

Who's ready for the JCPenny catalog?

She may look like she is enjoying this, but Jeff and I know she was thinking, "Get this thing off of my head!" No more headbands (until Mamom comes to visit again).

Jeff's mom set up this shot as a surprise for him. Needless to say, he loved it! Go Cardinals!
