Another Week of Firsts

Anna went to her first wedding in Charleston, took her first plane ride to Michigan, and ate carrots for the first time last week. What a busy girl! Here we are by the water before the wedding. It was a beautiful day and we stayed up until 9:00!

We got to see Christina in Michigan. We saw Monica and PJ, too, but forgot to take a picture. Sorry!

Anna got to meet Amy and her son Evan in Michigan, too. Evan is just one week older than Anna.

What a nice change from the first four months of her life. Bath time is fun now!

Six Months Old!

Here's our big girl sitting up for the chair picture! Although there are parts of that day six months ago I'd like to forget, looking at her smiling face makes it all worthwhile. We went to the doctor today and Anna weighed in at 14 lbs. 10 oz. and is 25 1/4 in long. I was getting nervous because she is still fitting comfortably into her 3 month clothing, but I was reassured that she is growing just fine. She's just a little peanut. Her current hobbies include sitting up for minutes at a time, putting her paci in her mouth all by herself, eating oatmeal neatly off of a spoon, and (don't worry) she is still playing peek-a-boo by herself. Happy Anniversary, Honey!

Four years ago today...the happiest day of my life!* I don't have any digital pictures of our wedding, so this is from our honeymoon in Antigua. I am thankful every day to have such a great husband.

*Anna's birthday was a happy day, too, but I was drugged and it HURT!

Beach Baby

We had a great trip to OBX last week. We were happy to have Anna included in our annual porch picture.

This is the longest she kept the sunglasses on.

The confused looks from Lauren, Nathan, Ava Mei, and Anna are a result of ten adults jumping, yelling, shaking toys, and generally making fools of themselves to try and get this picture taken. Harrison, on the other hand, was loving it. He laughed and clapped the whole time.

I think the kids would say this was a relaxing trip. I'm not sure the adults would agree.

Our friend Kelly got beautiful white dresses for Anna, Ava Mei and Emily for a photo shoot at the beach. They looked so cute!
