Playing at Home

Anna is totally digging this new musical table because she can stand up and play with it. Doesn't she look like she loves it?

Here she is practicing rolling over from her tummy to her back. Apparently it's not as easy as it looks, so she stopped for a moment to compare her hair color to the rug.

So I took her to the gym in this outfit and the ladies were going crazy about how cute it was. I agreed and then we started talking about how cute Anna is. I just kept saying, "I know. She is so cute! I just love her! She is sooooo cute!" I think I should stop doing that and just say thank you, but I can't help it--she IS so cute!

When Aunt Jessy gave Anna these Converse high tops for Christmas I thought, "When is she ever going to fit into these!?" Well, I guess at eight months.

Eight months old!

Our girl is getting so big! This past month has been a big one. It seems all of a sudden she is doing so much. Among the highlights are taking a bath in the big tub (I've been putting this off--my back hurts just thinking about it), drinking from a sippy cup, eating "stage 2" foods, standing up holding onto things, babbling to us ("blah, blah, blah" seems to be her favorite, although Jeff swears it is "da, da, da"), riding in her new car seat and stroller, and possibly waving. The biggest thrill of her day is when she reaches one of the magazines. Score!
