A Big Week

All of a sudden she figured out how to get from sitting up, to her tummy, and back to sitting up again. The next day she started crawling! Pulling up on the couch, ottoman, us, and her toys are now no problem at all. Imagine my surprise when I went to get her from her nap last week and she was standing up in her crib! She also decided she can clap today. We went to "Diaper Dance" class and she clapped through the whole thing. When I catch a good video of all of these new tricks, I'll be sure to post it.

These pictures are getting harder and harder to take. She reaches out for the camera or wants to get up and move. (Our camera was MIA last weekend, so sorry for the delay in the monthly picture. Check out this month's picture here.)

Anna has been feeding herself and I have to say I like it. I think she does, too.

Big Girl!

Anna will be nine months old tomorrow. We went to the doctor today and she is healthy and growing well. She weighs 17 lbs and 11 oz which put her in the 28th percentile. She is 27 3/4 inches long which is the 56th percentile. The doctor said to start giving her more finger food/table food and to hurry up and baby proof the house!
Here is an update on some of Anna's favorite things:
Color: Still pink, but she likes yellow, too
Toy: Anything that rattles
Sleep position: On her tummy

Book: Touch and Feel Kittens
Food: Oatmeal mixed with anything
TV Show: The Today Show
Other things she enjoys: Playing on the floor in the kitchen, crawling all over us, licking the remote, baths, walks in the neighborhood, dogs, jumping.

On the move

On Saturday night she decided she was ready to move. I guess if you want something badly enough you go after it. In this case, the jacket cover to a Feng Shui book.

Up North

We had a great trip up to northern Michigan (aka Up North). Carly and Joe were married on Sunday night and a good time was had by all.
