It was a beautiful fall day here in Atlanta. Anna started the evening by helping Daddy rake the leaves/pine needles in the front yard.

Playing with the pumpkins on the front porch has become a very popular pastime here at our house.

Waving to Daddy while he is raking.

"Are you done yet?"

Soaking in the last bit of sunshine of the day.

We topped off the evening by taking Anna to her first high school football game. The Centennial Knights play just down the road and we went to cheer them on. It was the last home game of the season and they played well (I think). We left during the first quarter, but stayed long enough to see the Knights score a touchdown on the opening kick off. Very exciting!

Banners have come a long way since I was in high school. Anna and I had a blast "people watching" during the game. The crowd sparked several conversations between Jeff and I, such as, "Will we ever let Anna wear a skirt that short?" and "I can't believe the cheerleaders were talking during the national anthem!" Perhaps what amazed us both the most was the amount of kids drinking Red Bull at the game. It seemed like every other kid had a can. It made my heart race just watching them. I'm old.

Your game description was cracking me up!! That Red Bull story made me feel old too. Anna is too cute with the pumpkins and waving to Daddy. What a good helper!
